The exhibition at the SAM, “Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors” offers the opportunity to experience Kusama and her 65-year career across a multitude of mediums and modalities. Including more than 60 works on paper, sculptures, and large scale paintings from the 1950s to the present – not to mention five of her oft-talked about Infinity Mirror Rooms – the exhibit has been drawing a lot of attention. And rightly so; if you can get tickets (and, hey, you can!) it’s worth a trip to see Kusama’s work in person.
